Otherwise, patients will experience adverse side effects if the inexperienced doctor injects the wrong doses of Botox.
Other than that, before getting Botox injection, patients should avoid alcohol and medication such as aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs. This is because these stuff may cause bruising after the treatment.
How long does the effect last?
After undergo Botox injection, the effects normally can last for about 4-6 months. When the effects disappear, the muscle action gradually returns, then the lines and wrinkles reappear. That’s why, patient should at least do twice a year for optimize the Botox result.
Besides that, patients need to know that the Botox effect requires 2-4 days for stimulating the muscle to contract. Meanwhile, it usually take at about 10-14 days to get the maximum effect.
